I run an ADS-B feeder near Warsaw, and the interesting-aircraft alerts on it come from plane-alert-db: a big CSV of hexes that Planefence checks every contact against. If a plane isn't in that CSV it flies past and nothing happens.
A lot of planes weren't in it. So since July 2026 I've been filling the gaps, 25 merged PRs and around 1,100 aircraft so far.
The big ones were type sweeps: 293 V-22 Ospreys, 101 P-8 Poseidons, 99 Turkish Bayraktar TB2s, 98 drones, 81 P-3 Orions, 78 E-2 Hawkeyes, 66 Il-76s and An-12s. Then a long tail of smaller batches, 37 Algerian Air Force aircraft, 21 L-39 Albatroses, 20 Italian military Piaggio P.180s, and a lot of Polish stuff because that's what actually flies over me: the Polish Air Force fleet, the Medical Air Service H135s, the two new Saab 340 AEW&C, 25 vanity registrations, and the only airworthy MiG-15bis and MiG-17 in Europe.
Hexes come from tar1090-db, deduped against the current list and styled like the rows already there. Where the source doesn't say which variant an airframe is, I say so in the PR rather than quietly guess.
